Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?
No. Sign up with your email and you get 21 days of full access — no card, nothing to cancel. We only ask for a card if you decide to keep Operaite after the trial.
What happens after my 21-day trial ends?
If you haven't added a card, nothing is charged and your account simply pauses — your data stays put, and you can pick up where you left off by adding a card later. If you did add a card, your subscription starts at $29/month on the day the trial ends; we email you 3 days before, and you can cancel anytime.
What does it cost for a crew?
$29 a month for the owner, plus $5 a month for each additional team member. Bookkeepers and accountants get read-only access free. A 5-tech crew is $49 a month; 10 techs is $74.
How do I cancel?
From your account inside the app — one click, no questions asked, no email loops. During the free trial there's nothing to cancel: if you never add a card, nothing is charged.
Using Operaite
Does it work with QuickBooks?
Yes. Connect QuickBooks Online from Settings and every invoice you mark paid is pushed to QuickBooks automatically, so your bookkeeper never re-keys a thing. It's a one-way push of paid invoices; you keep working in Operaite.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Operaite runs in the browser on any phone or tablet, so there's nothing to install. Build and send invoices from the driveway, approve booking requests, and your techs open their day's stops with one-tap directions through Google Maps.
Which AI does Operaite use?
We use Anthropic's Claude — the same models used by leading AI products. You get access to high-quality, business-aware AI for invoices, review responses, marketing audits, social posts, and more, all included in the $29/mo plan with no per-request charges.
Can I use Operaite for more than one business?
Currently, each subscription is tied to one business profile. If you operate multiple businesses, you can update your profile when switching contexts, or contact us about multi-business support — it's on the roadmap.
Do I need to be technical to use it?
Not at all. Operaite is built for owner-operators, not engineers. If you can fill in a form and click a button, you can run a marketing audit, generate an invoice, or reply to every review in a few seconds.
Your data
Is my business data safe?
Yes. All data is transmitted over SSL, stored securely via Supabase, and payments are handled by Stripe — meaning we never see or store your card details. We don't sell your data, and your business information is only used to power your tools.
Who owns the content I generate?
You do. Every invoice, post, reply, and proposal you generate belongs to you and your business. Operaite is just the tool — the output is yours to use however you'd like, with no licensing strings attached.
